Disney Imagineering Artist Says Talent is a Myth Ray Kinman short documentary "Ray Kinman never set out to become a Disney Imagineering legend. In this short documentary, the self-taught woodcarver reflects on the unlikely path that led him from a broke young father with no formal training, no tools, and no clear plan to carving work for some of Disneyland’s most iconic attractions. What began with a lie to land his very first sign job slowly became a life built through repetition, instinct, mistakes, and decades of persistence." - Extract taken from the Youtube documentary description
